Specialized maintenance and crane operator programs relieve refinery personnel from material handling concerns, allowing those resources to concentrate on optimizing the DCU process. Konecranes global service operation offers a complete, 24/7 maintenance service as well as operation of the crane under long-term site services contracts. These are performed by local in-country personnel.

Service Cranes for Coker Units (Crane):

The Switch Deck Crane is used to service the "Switching Valve." The crane is used to switch large and special valves used to switch the flow of fluids from one coke drum to another as drums are filled.

The Unheading Hoist is used to maintain components such as the unheading valve. The valve sits on top of the drum and opens it to allow the drill to be lowered into the drum.

Maintenance Jibs for Coker Cranes are used to maintain hoist components. These are located in a harsh environment on top of the Coker Crane Trolley.
