The sawmill industry is characterized by high intensity, high flexibility and heavy loads. Looking at a forklift working in a sawmill environment is quite amazing. The demands put on the sawmill trucks are very different from many other operating environments and in a way very unique. Therefore it is of utter importance for us as a manufacturer to be able to offer customized solutions to the end users. In sawmills forklifts are often used for a multitude of tasks e.g. working in warehouses, loading trailers, transporting timber etc. Performing such a wide variety of tasks the machine must be able to meet a number of requirements e.g. width and height restrictions but at the same time be able to offer a significant lift height. It must travel long distances in varied terrain which calls for a powerful driveline. It must be able to ensure that the end product is not damaged when loaded on trailer by using e.g. a fork levelling system.
