Konecranes has launched a renewed corporate website. The new site, www.konecranes.com is designed to provide an engaging experience for users by incorporating more visual and interactive elements. Viewed by thousands of global visitors daily, the site contains a wide variety of content detailing the organizations product and services. Country specific sites are scheduled to be renewed during 2012-2013.
“We see our customers and other stakeholders using online services more and more to research products and stay connected to the companies with which they conduct business. Konecranes wants to be able to provide them with an excellent web experience that reflects our position as the leader in the lifting industry,” says Kalle Rosti, Corporate Digital Marketing and Communications Manager.
“With the new website, we have prioritized quality content and the users’ experience. The trends in content consumption are calling for more video, visualization of data, social engagement and interactive elements. Providing the visitor a number of choices on how they want to engage is very important. Additionally, we have taken into account the ever-expanding selection of devices used to access the web.
