Have you taken steps to ensure your crane operation is protected against catastrophic failure?
Identifying potential failures before they become significant safety or production risks is the foundation of the most effective preventive maintenance programs. Inspecting your equipment on a frequent and periodic basis, as required by law, is of the utmost importance. However, just as important is the inspection of components that fall outside of a standard compliance inspection.
Join us for a webinar as we discuss the importance of internal gear case inspections using non-destructive testing. We will focus on how gears are designed for normal operations in crane applications but also their inherent potential for failure, and the hidden issues, when left untouched, that can cause premature failure in hoist gearing.
This webinar will be led by:
Jack Barch, North America Product Sales Manager, Spare Parts, has more than five years of experience in engineering in the crane industry with a focus on gearing. In 2019, he became the youngest person to ever receive an Advanced Gear Engineering Certification from the American Gear Manufacturing Association. He has a diverse knowledge of the crane industry, and a strong enthusiasm for the advancement of the safety of overhead equipment through gearing design improvements and education of best practices in our unique applications.
Mike Brown, Director of Key Accounts, Region Americas, began his career with Konecranes in the Service business unit more than 31 years ago. Mike specializes in large account negotiations, corporate agreements, maintenance planning and organizing for plants with a large number of assets. He is considered an expert in developing specialized tools for customers to better understand their maintenance programs.
