Konecranes involved with the Crane Safety 2019 seminar in London

Konecranes are proud to sponsor the upcoming Crane Safety 2019 seminar, held on 17 September 2019 in London.

Organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Crane Safety is the only one of its kind that addresses the challenges of achieving safe, compliant and cost-effective lifting projects.

Now in its fourth year, the seminar brings together engineers, lifting professionals, equipment manufacturers, risk and safety consultants and service providers across multiple industries to share best practice, hear guidance from the industry regulator and learn the lessons from recent incidents. Speakers contributing their expertise at this year’s event include BYLOR, Sarens Cranes, Volker Fitzpatrick, MPS Crane Operators, Select Plant Hire and Health and Safety Executive, amongst others.

Konecranes will have a formal presence in the exhibition area at this year’s seminar, where representatives will be on hand to present their products and services.

Mark Bidwell from Konecranes said: “We look forward to joining this event for the first time and meeting new and existing customers. Konecranes have plenty to add to the ongoing discussion of how to achieve safer and cost-effective lifting and we are keen to hear how engineers are approaching these goals.”
