Model 7 Mobile Harbor Cranes

The all-rounder for demanding applications

 
The Konecranes Gottwald Model 7 Mobile Harbor Crane is the all-around high-performance crane in our family of large mobile harbor cranes. It is designed for particularly demanding applications in multi-purpose and special purpose terminals. It is available in several variants, offering lifting capacities of up to 150 t and a working radius of 54 m, with lifting speeds of up to 120 m/min. It has the A7 classification for a 57 t grab curve, and A8 for a 50 t grab curve. This crane can be used alongside ships up to post-Panamax and Capesize Bulker. 
 
The Model 7 offers excellent handling performance for applications demanding very high performance. Thanks to its versatility, this crane has proven to be an excellent alternative to custom-built handling equipment, especially in multi-purpose and special purpose terminals. 
 
This crane has made a name for itself in intensive container handling in different terminal infrastructure setups, and also as a four-rope grab crane for bulk handling. With its high lifting capacity of up to 150 t up to 20 m outreach, the Model 7 is also suitable for heavy project load handling (e.g. engines or turbines).

The Model 7 crane is equipped with a standard range of features that improve productivity and eco-efficiency for economical, sustainable cargo handling in ports and terminals. 
 
We also offer a range of optional, special features such as:
  • load guidance system, including:
         - linear load motion
         - load antisway
         - point-to-point handling mode
         - hoisting height limiting system
  • tandem lift assistant and vertical lift assistant
  • verifiable weighing system

The use of energy-efficient hybrid drive units or external power sources significantly improves the efficiency of the drive system and helps reduce the environmental impact.
