Konecranes is participating in SPCI 2011, the world’s leading pulp and paper event in Stockholm. Konecranes, one of the world’s market leaders in crane and lifting technology, will present its comprehensive Smarter Lifting Solutions for the Pulp and Paper industry at SPCI 2011 on stand A15:38. Konecranes’ theme for SPCI is “Smart cranes cost less in the long run”.

New products and services launched
Konecranes launched several new products and services in the beginning of May 2011. These include the TRUVIEW remote data monitoring system, the TRUCARE full service concept, and the XA aluminum light crane system with ATB Air Balancer and ATL Vertical Lifter devices.
In addition, Konecranes has added and presented new Smart crane features to both light duty and heavy duty lifting equipment. SMARTON® cranes also include brake energy feedback as standard equipment in all cranes. With brake energy feedback it is possible to save 30 percent of the total energy consumption of a crane.
Konecranes also has a comprehensive range of new features for its heavy-duty forklift trucks.
