Konecranes expertise helps power station move 196 ton heat exchanger
Alstom needed a strong crane to safely move a large heat exchanger for a special technical examination. We designed a lifting beam to smoothly transport the heat exchanger along the crane runway before being turned 90 degrees in the air and placed on its side in the support close to the ground.

As part of a modernization project, we were tasked with upgrading the station's original crane to enhance its reliability and operational precision, ensuring it meets future demands.
