Draw insights from your data

Anomalies are abnormal events that can show up as faults and should be addressed promptly as they occur. A good example is an overload. Knowing precisely when an overload has occurred is the first step in identifying its cause and taking steps to prevent it from happening again.

Patterns are recurring events that might show up on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, or follow some other correlation. Excessive starts during certain work shifts may indicate the need for operator training.

The study of trends can help uncover targets for safety and productivity improvement. Data charts and graphs provide visual cues of things that are increasing or decreasing. Analyzing data behavior over time supports predictive maintenance as well as investment decisions.

Prioritize your maintenance

The yourKONECRANES portal provides the information you need to help make informed maintenance decisions. During a service visit, our mobile-enabled technicians can quickly and efficiently input information, so you have quick access to your service data including findings and recommendations. You get a quick view of pain points in your fleet with an overview of open safety and production risks plus TRUCONNECT safety, production and condition alerts.

The portal gives you a complete view of your assets and relationship with Konecranes on any web-enabled device.

Overview

The Overview page gives you a high-level view of service findings and activities as well as remote monitoring statistics for TRUCONNECT-enabled assets,

Open Items shows the number of open safety risks, production risks and TRUCONNECT statuses that require immediate attention. If a risk has been identified and recorded for a component and no repair action has been completed for it, then the fault is considered open.

Service Activity gives you an overview of the findings and actions for the assets serviced in the selected timeframe. You can also easily access your Service Review information from this section.

TRUCONNECT Statistics show alerts and condition change for assets with TRUCONNECT Remote Service. Alerts include overloads, emergency stops, brake faults and motor over temperatures.

Activity

The Activity page lists all findings and actions over the selected timeframe. You can also see a list of all completed service requests and even initiate repairs or on-call service.

This view shows completed service requests in the selected timeframe. You can sort by service product and asset criticality and the Service Review information can be accessed with one click. You can request a planned repair or on-call repair quickly and easily with the New Service Request button.

Service Review

After a service visit, we perform a Service Review to go through open recommendations and quotes, answer questions and plan next steps. This information on the Service Request page will be discussed during a Service Review to help explain findings, to review open quotations and recommend and plan next steps. And the information can be easily viewed again at any time.

The Summary shows findings (safety risks, production risks, undetermined conditions and improvement opportunities) and actions (repairs) for the service request.

Each asset that was included in the service request is listed and all findings and actions pertaining to that asset are listed in detail.

Business Review KPIs

As part of our consultative approach, we conduct a Business Review with our customers to demonstrate a return on investment and drive continuous improvement. You can access this information at any time in the Business Review section on yourKONECRANES.com. The Service KPIs section is a high-level overview of the work Konecranes has performed over the selected timeframe including trends and findings and actions.

Trends compares the number of faults found to the number of work packages or assets serviced over the selected timeframe.

Findings and Actions gives you a clear view of which assets needed the most attention.

Business Review TRUCONNECT

The TRUCONNECT section of the Business Review allows you to see trends in alerts in comparison to running hours for your connected assets. It also allows you to view the number of alerts on your high-criticality assets.

The Alerts and Usage graph compares the number of alerts and running hours of your connected assets over the selected timeframe.

The Alerts section gives you a clear view of which assets had the highest number of safety or production alerts.

Business Review Spend

Your spend information is summed up in this view. You can see total amount invoiced for the selected timeframe and a breakdown of costs by service product. You can also view costs that were not included in your service agreement.

Trends by Service Type can be filtered to show a particular service product such as on-call service or inspections and preventive maintenance.

Spend by Asset gives you a clear view of which assets have had the most repairs in the selected time period.

TRUCONNECT

This view allows you see all the TRUCONNECT data for a particular asset. You can view safety-related occurrences such as over-temperatures, attempted overloads and emergency stops; a pareto analysis of critical alerts; operating statistics such as load spectrum, monitoring of hoist jogging, overloads, emergency stops, work cycles and running hours; and estimates of remaining Design Working Period (DWP) of selected components such as the hoist and hoist brake.

The Summary presents the worst case scenarios from each main monitoring area – condition, reliability, operating statistics and production.

Safety-critical alerts indicate a safety risk to the crane or its operation. Safety-critical risks can include emergency stops, overloading and brake faults. In this section, you can see a daily average for alerts as well as trends.

The impact of emergency stops on the brake wear percentage shows the effect of emergency/abnormal stops on the brake service life in addition to the hoist motor starts. The graph shows the cumulative number of emergency stops per period and the service life trend of the brake.
