Optimize your floor space

Modern maintenance and painting facilities need to be increasingly advanced to handle the different types and sizes of aircraft. Various floor level platform designs for each aircraft type occupy significant floor space around the planes being serviced. Traditional ground-based equipment can take up valuable floor space, reducing maneuverability within the hangar.

In order to get the most out of your available floor space you need to look to the space above. A combination of telescopic work platforms and suspension cranes can make major repairs, maintenance, and painting more efficient and free up the space below for equipment, tools and personnel.

Flexibility for streamlined workflows

We offer a range of equipment that can provide the flexibility you need to adapt to evolving needs—from single girder suspension cranes to intra-logistic crane systems.

Suspension cranes are a great choice for maintenance applications. Individual suspension cranes can be linked using latching devices, enabling one or multiple trolleys to move from one crane bridge to another.

This setup extends the operating range of a platform or service trolley to span the entire width of the hangar. Since individual cranes can also be suspended from multiple runway tracks, overhead space can be fully utilized with a uniform distribution of forces on the building.

Easy access to hard-to-reach areas

Access to sensitive parts such as engines, landing gear or control surfaces requires careful handling to prevent damage or injury. Our teleplatforms are designed to provide a stable, adjustable platform that makes it easy to access hard-to-reach areas to keep maintenance workflows running smooth.

We designed the telescopic mast to effectively manage and dissipate external horizontal forces for a safer and more stable working environment. The mast can be extended downward and is equipped with a lightweight maintenance platform with high structural rigidity and a low deadweight. The operator can move the maintenance platform into the desired position right down to the last millimeter and it can be rotated through 360°.

Safety-enhancing features

Our teleplatforms are designed with several features to enhance the safety of personnel, equipment and the working area. Sections of the platform railing can be removed so workers wearing specially designed safety harnesses can carry out work very close to the aircraft. The control system can be disabled if the platform door is opened to help prevent the platform from accidentally being moved while a worker is entering or exiting. And in the event of an emergency, the necessary equipment is available for personnel to safely leave the platform.

Aircraft are expensive assets, and even minor damage can affect their performance, reliability and airworthiness. Integrated collision avoidance helps prevent contact between the platform and the aircraft or surrounding structures, maximizing worker safety and protecting the aircraft from potential damage. And if the load capacity is exceeded, the integrated overload protection automatically switches off the entire installation.
