What are the floor requirements for installing Agilon?
The floor should have a characteristic compressive cylinder strength of at least 20 N/mm² (strength class 20/25 according to EN 1992). The maximum load is 25.4 kN/m² and the maximum point load is 19.7 kN on an area of 0.0045 m². The angular rotation at any location of the floor slab within the rack area should not exceed arctan(1/2000) = 0.029°.

Connections

Why is an internet connection needed for Agilon?
Agilon requires an internet connection for the whole operation, including remote support, monitoring, and integrations with external systems such as ERP or WMS. The internet ensures secure communication with Agilon servers and allows the system to synchronize data in real time.

What kind of internet connection is needed?
Agilon initiates a secure and encrypted VPN session to Agilon servers via the internet using a LAN connection provided by the customer. The primary connection is through an RJ45 Ethernet cable, and a backup 4G/5G modem is included. Smaller Agilon systems work well with a standard 8/1 Mbit ADSL link, but faster connections, such as 24/3 ADSL2+ or VDSL, are recommended for larger systems to ensure smooth performance.

Can Agilon operate without a network connection?
Agilon requires an internet connection for the whole operation, including remote support and integrations. Temporarily, the system can operate without a network using Local Login, allowing users to store or retrieve items. However, during this time, Agilon Service cannot connect to the system, and integrations with external systems will not function.

IT Security

What data is stored and where?
Agilon stores data locally on access point PCs, which is replicated to hosting servers. Stored data includes user information, item details, transaction records, and other relevant operational data.

In what kind of network environment does Agilon operate?
Agilon requires access to the internet only, not the customer’s internal network. There is no need to allow inbound network connections to Agilon, as all network traffic inside the VPN tunnel is two-way.

How is information security ensured?
Agilon servers are located in high-security data centers. All network traffic is encrypted, and GDPR rules and regulations are strictly followed.

Integrations

What type of integration does Agilon use?
Agilon uses an XML-based HTTP API to communicate with external systems.

What message types are available?
External systems can send various items, including users, cost centers, orders, and picking lists, to Agilon. Agilon can send transactions and item information, including stock balances, to external systems. Agilon can send orders and consignment stock transactions or orders to suppliers’ systems. Suppliers’ systems can send order acknowledgements to Agilon.

What authentication method is used in integrations?
The standard method is HTTP Basic Access Authentication. Other authentication options are available as separate projects.
