Our latest Employee Engagement Survey was conducted in June 2021. The results show that despite the challenges brought by the global COVID-19 pandemic, we are doing well and at times even exceeding the average norms when comparing to general industry and companies like us.
Great work relationships keep us going
As we spend a lot of time at work with our colleagues, we want to offer our current and future employees a positive, diverse and international work environment where they can see their input come to life. The survey results show that we have improved in this area since our last survey in 2019, giving a 5 percent increase in the feeling of good cooperation and teamwork – the total being 84 percent of favourable. Based on the results, 72 percent feel proud to work at Konecranes and majority of our people feel they are empowered to intervene if they would see unsafe behavior.
We support diversity and inclusion
Being a global company, we have a great advantage in hearing the voices of people with different backgrounds, gender, age and culture. We want to see diversity and inclusion at the core of our culture, and 75 percent of our people strongly agree with this statement.

Enablement is the “can do” of our work at Konecranes. We want to utilize and enable our people’s skills and give a supportive work environment where they can grow. Vast majority feel their skills and abilities are recognized, and 77 percent feel that they are being offered opportunities to do challenging and interesting work. We are very pleased to see this year’s Employee Engagement Survey results show that our people feel their contribution is important and we want to keep offering our current and future employees the kind of work environment where anything is possible – for everyone.
