Sling inspection records

Keeping sling inspection records keeps you prepared

We know that routine inspections are essential to the overall performance and efficiency of slings and other lifting equipment. To reduce the likelihood of problems caused by ordinary wear and tear, it is important to routinely inspect these items. To stay compliant with OSHA standards, it is also important to make detailed inspection records. Be prepared to present your inspection records to an OSHA representative in the event of an audit.

Konecranes inspectors and technicians can inspect the slings and other rigging equipment in your facility to determine if it meets OSHA standards. The Konecranes Slings and Accessories Inspection checks non-maintainable load lifting attachments and accessories to identify deficiencies and deviations from local statutory safety and health regulations. The inspection service utilizes radio frequency identification (RFID) tags to record load lifting attachment inspection data and a smartphone app to help quickly and reliably identify attachments.

The Slings and Accessories Inspection combined with our yourKONECRANES customer portal gives you a comprehensive system to manage your attachments. The customer portal provides detailed product data and inspection results. It also provides a record for regulatory requirements which can help you stay compliant.
