Modernization far less costly than hoist replacement for metal fabricator

For nearly two years, CC Metals & Alloys had a need for a new hoist to replace the existing one that was no longer meeting their needs. While bids and proposals were submitted and resubmitted multiple times, the cost of the replacement hoist kept stalling the process. Without the funds needed for a full replacement of the hoist, the project was put on hold again and again. If something was going to happen, it was going to need a new approach and a fresh set of eyes.

A quick call brought us into a meeting with the company’s maintenance department. After an assessment was made that the current hoist could be reworked and sped up without having to purchase a total replacement, the idea was sent off to our engineering department. Within a week, we had an answer.

CC Metals & Alloys just had to say the word and the hoist could be up and running at more than triple the speed for a cost that was a fraction of a total hoist replacement. The customer was ecstatic and immediately put in a purchase order to get the improvements started.

After not having done business with us previously, CC Metals & Alloys now stands as one of our largest customers in the Western Kentucky area.
