Crane Users Conference Makes Its Milwaukee Comeback

Corporate press releases

(Springfield, OH) – Konecranes aims to focus on safety and productivity as it brings back its Crane Users Conference this fall in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

For the first time in seven years, Konecranes is bringing back its groundbreaking Crane Users Conference — a complimentary event designed to help companies operate more safely and productively with the latest in overhead material handling technologies. This year's conference will be held September 16–18, 2025, at the Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

With a strong focus on safety technology, the event offers a unique opportunity to learn best practices, share ideas, and discuss material handling challenges with colleagues and crane industry experts.

"One of the main goals of this customer-focused event is to highlight the great technology Konecranes offers in both our products and services," says organizer Jim Skowron. "We want to shine a light on how industries can care for cranes throughout their entire lifecycle, and the steps users can take to keep them safe and productive year after year."

The agenda will feature in-depth sessions on crane safety technology and other advancements that boost productivity, including the latest in remote monitoring technology, and how to use it to gain insight and optimize operations.

The conference is ideal for professionals in industries where cranes play a central role, including aluminium, automotive, energy from waste, intermodal & rail, manufacturing, mining, nuclear, petrochemical, pulp & paper, and steel.

"Our format includes general sessions led by subject matter experts, along with a breakout room to explore the latest crane technologies firsthand — from a remote operating station to immersive virtual reality crane operator safety training," says Skowron.

As a bonus, the Konecranes Training Institute will host a complimentary Crane Regulations and Risk Management on Thursday afternoon following the conference. This condensed 4-hour course — usually a $719 value — is available to all attendees at no charge.
